Wests get Highlands in First Round
22nd January 2009
The draw for the IFA First Division has been provisionally released and sees Wests Illawarra FC start with a home game against Highlands. The first round games kick off on 2nd May.
Wests will them play new boys Shoalhaven FC (Away), Balgownie (Home) and Shellharbour City (Away).
The format for the IFA 1st division still sees the league split into two groups however the playing format has changed. This season will only see each group play each other home and away with the winner of each group eligible to apply for promotion to the IFA Premier League for season 2010.
