My Perfect XI by... Luke Gordon
1. Bruce Grobbelaar (Goalkeeper) - The first thing i remember of any goalkeeper is the old wobbly legs. the legend lived on through jerzy
2. Pablo Escobar (Right Back) - Hey i've got to have a player in my team besides me who scores own goals
3. John Arne Riise (Left Back) - The most powerful striker of a ball i can think of. He doesnt score many but when he does they are memorable.
4. Franco Baresi (Centre Back) -.Any man who can play at the highest level with a comb over gets my vote
5. Vinnie Jones (Centre Back) - The hardest lunitic i ever saw play football, defences wouldnt be game to score against him.
6. Luke Gordon (Centre Midfield) - Wouldnt look out of place next to cantona during a scrap
7. Christiano Ronaldo (Right Midfield) - The bloke to get the girls in and to make the rest of the team feel tough. The greatest pussy ever to strap on a pair of boots
8. Steven Gerrard (Centre Midfield) - No team would be without the greatest player ever
9. Ian Rush (Centre Forward) - He made the mow famous in my eyes and the best goal poacher i have seen, besides you McGirr. Neither of you do much running.
10. George Weah (Centre Forward) - The most flamboyant striker i can think of and definately a highlight in my eyes of italia 90.
11 Eric Cantona (Right Midfield) - Just in case the crowd get a bit unruly. Plus he can play a bit
Manager... The one and only Bill Shankly
